Inspired by the Mesoamerican deities known as the feathered serprent and other cultural endeavors, enter the Teotihuacan temple where the an embark on a harrowing adevnture through the ancient jungles and forests of current day Central America.

Guests can enter this mythical land from either Ancient Greece or The Far East. As they do they approach a densly packed forest with a 50 ft peak of a temple rising in the distance above the trees. You meander through worship medalions and garnments of Quetzalcoati, the Mesoamerican deity known as the Wind Jewel - a feather serpant that was used for iconography, as can be seen as you approach the temple itself.

 

You enter the temple and are seated in a large, scaled auditorium, where you meet members of the Teotihuacan tribe as they begin a ritual to the feathered serpant.

 

Show Synopsis

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the show begins, you hear chants and a ritual begins to summon the feathered serpant. As the music swells and the binaural audio of the temple radiates around the guests and special pyrotechnicas flow around the stage area, guests encounter a misty presence on stage. The AA tribe members gaze in awe at the powerful spirit of the serpant, who then flies around the room sprinkling the air with its presence. The serpant opens its mouth as if it were to speak, but suddenly a large ball of flame comes out of its mouth

 

The tribe members scream in horror at what they have summoned, the feathered serpant must be angry today. They attemplt to calm the serpant down but it still travels around the temple using a technology known as a "peripheral"

 

Designed in 2025 as the latest Walt Disney Imagineering technology, the peripheral is a 360 screen system that makes guests feel like they are in a virtual reality. It can make cgi figures, such as the feathered serpant, feel as if they are actually in the area and interacting with the guets.

 

After some trouble, the tribe members are able to contain the spirit and send it back to its other dimension and away from the guests as the 15 min show ends with a bang.
